I have an older version that they don't sell any more, by my friends who have the new one like it a lot. What gives the guys the right to the better stuff? And I don't think you need to be embarassed at all, sounds like you did the thing that felt right to you. I guess if I had the money I would have already replaced my old camera too, but with the budget I had getting a new lens made more sense. I have it now btw., it's a Sigma 17-50 2.8. And I kept the bag. That or; Plan D - DH will use the D90 for awhile, lust after yours, and you can upgrade again! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/camera-update#post-1292474 Tue, 01 Jul 2014 18:09:13 +0000 abc 1292474@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>For those who asked for an update to my earlier camera post...</p> <p>I should have known better than to go to the camera shop, haha. </p> <p>Walked out with a Nikon D7100, 18-200 lens and Kelly Moore bag that looks more like a purse than a camera bag. </p> <p>The plan is to sell the D90 locally to recover as much as possible to pay for the new body and lens. The market here is anywhere from 25-50% or more higher than USA prices so I'm hopeful. Plan B is to keep both as DH has basically taken on all photography duties for the family though its always been a hobby of mine too (with two cameras we can both partake in the hobby). And far fetched Plan C is to get a second D7100 bc we see how great it is compared to the D90 haha. Guess it was time for an upgrade! </p>
