You could easily do a day trip to London too. </p> <p>The distances are small. I loved the Lincoln Cathedral. I never got to the Norfolk fens but wanted to do so. My niece lived near Cambridge for several years while her husband was stationed at a nearby air base. Both their children were born there. Try the “mushy peas”. You can have tea and cakes under the trees of the orchard.
