In my thread, I really felt myself feeling ambivalent about many of the suggestions. I feel like I could do a hybrid of pairs of the suggestions, but any one of them on their own felt too rocker or too bombshell or too romantic or too strict. I don't do well with copycatting or pigeon-holing, and maybe that's part of why the suggestions for my style icons were all over the map! </p> <p>That said, I like those boots too. I am keeping an eye out for something along those lines -- lug sole, maybe a bit of platform, but refined, if that makes sense. The Finds here are along those lines. I tried one last winter but the comfort was not there.
