May is a nice time to be in Toronto!</p> <p>Ingunn, if we don't have a meet-up, there are still lots of great places in Toronto to visit. If you like museums, the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) is pretty awesome and the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) is also fantastic. There is also the Bata Shoe Museum - a whole museum dedicated to shoes! Imagine! The shopping in Toronto is amazing, especially at The Eaton Centre. And Toronto is also a great destination for many musicals and plays. Also, if you stay downtown, the transportation system (bus and subway) is excellent and makes it easy to get around.</p> <p>I lived there for a year while I completed my teaching degree at the University of Toronto. There are some great museums and galleries in Toronto, and excellent shopping, theatre and restaurants. If budget is not an issue, the Hazelton Hotel in the Yorkville area is very well situated in an area of posh shops and restaurants.
