I like Zara's viscose maxi shirt dresses, because they tend to be soft enough to let go of wrinkles (when hung up - no iron) but also just structured enough to give shape to the body. Non maxi length and shirt dress style are actually more wearable for me, both practically and in terms of carrying off statement prints.<br /> I love the structure of the caftan on top (sleeve shape and neckline), it’s somewhat comparable to my new POMP dress, but that one is not as full, shows ankle &amp; calf and has side slits. At 59" long it would need to be hemmed just to be able to walk. It's also not available in L, although the measurements for XL look ok, I don't need it to be oversized in the shoulders. I think it's just too much dress for me.<br />I have my eye on this one in similar colours, but there's no real comparison. But this caftan caught my eye and I was quite excited to realize it’s from a Nigerian-born designer based in Toronto, brand name Rahyma. I’ve been focusing on Canadian brands this year, and also developing an interest in African prints, so this is right up my alley, and I’m impressed The Bay is carrying them.<br /> Now I have no need for this dress, having acquired 3 long (but not 59” long!) summer dresses this year, and I’m pretty sure the print would overwhelm me.
