I am road testing them today! Not sure if they will get stinky if washed - the site says they are meant to be washed in the washing machine so I hope not! They should dry easily - they feel like neoprene.</p> <p>The insole is rubber, outsole feels like rubber with a hard maybe plastic coat? The back has Velcro to adjust a little. The peep toe Is not large and I have straight-across toes that never peep well, but I think it's enough. </p> <p>They are airy because of the open toe and back and the material which is porous. I was worried the sole would be too squishy like a flip flop, but they have a sturdy feel yet weigh nothing. The nylon stretches more readily than leather and is very lightweight; they were perfect for my circumstances. Not as stylish as yours; no worries on the frump factor in your hands.
