So I think I will keep the needle and thread handy. I agree with Anna and Suz - it's primarily the nature of the knit. I sure would hate to spend a lot of money and have it happen - it would be returned for sure. Good suggestion JR - I'll look for a slightly tighter weave. I think it is the fabrication of this sweater that is the issue - all those pesky little holes - so many opportunities for snagging. High five to my "clumsy" twin Kari! T-shirts develop holes after one wash, yet my son can wear their shorts constantly and even after multiple wash and dries they look fine. Arrgggh! I repaired the hole and soldiered on. Later, while sorting out Christmas lights, (yes that time already) I snagged my sweater again! Fortunately I still had the needle threaded from the last repair.<br /> Perhaps this is a lounging sweater - meant for curling up on the couch, and a safe distance away from all sharp objects!<br /> So here's the skinny - it's from H&amp;M - 29.00. I didn't expect a lot at that price - but it definitely has fallen short of the mark. The good thing is at least I know this is a style I enjoy - and I'll be on the look out for something similar albeit higher quality. </p>
