I'm not surprised you saw several renditions at a kids' party.&nbsp;</p> <p>FWIW, my maternity uniform consisted of American Apparel interlock miniskirts over various leggings. I even got really into patterned leggings -- those I don't do anymore, just solid black and dark neutrals. I was at a kids bday party and not one but two different ladies showed up wearing leggings with butt vests! The same color, too. Styled differently of course but given we live in a small town I'm guessing they came from the same store. You could tell they were of the butt vest variety and not mini skirt plus leggings. I don't know why it kind of works on me, because miniskirts are horrible on me. Maybe because the leggings are more substantial than tights. And I tend to wear these with slightly looser, longer tops, for a long-over-lean silhouette. </p> <p>Contrary to what LP mentions about the one-piece thing (fit variables), I find the skirted leggings much easier and comfortable than any skirt and tights combo I've ever worn.
