Wow! Nice to see you post, Christie! Super outfits! I love the first two ensembles and I’m stealing those turquoise beads. Fab use of colour :0)

I am alone in this but I don’t think coloured tights work unless you’re really, really young and in a very creative field. Or, they’re muted and dark and worn in a very monochromatic way like: burgundy tights with burgundy boots and a dark grey dress. So I vote textured neutral hose to match your smashing looks. I hope that makes sense.

Love what you do with color combinations! My office is the same, we can do business casual when we are at our desks for the day, but I also dress up more than most. I'm really inspired by the way you mix up your layers, like with the yellow cami under the white button-down under the red/coral cardigan. The turquoise beads are a nice final touch.

Plus, you have lovely shoes. Shoes make all the difference when you are dressing up but still keeping it business casual; you can have more fun and flexibility with funky styles, and that's exactly what you do. Love that!

You look fantastic! The first grey & aqua outfit is just awesome. And those tall black boots are sweet! Definitely a longer necklace with the turtleneck + sheath.

Wow, Christie, I think you have a great sense of style and the color combos are amazing! My favorite is number 1 and I love your black boots from 2/3. I agree with Joy - I think a longer necklace would work better with that sheath dress + turtleneck. BTW, your wall color is so cool!

Christie, I liked your outfits! My favorite one is the 3rd picture, with the red (or hot pink?) sweater. You combined the turquoise necklace, lime green tank, and red sweater and the white shirt keeps it from looking too busy.

I'm trying to be less monochromatic and I love this outfit!

Thanks Isabel and Joy!
Regarding the green turtleneck outfit--I did add a gray and cream cardigan over it before I left for work. That was my: half of my clothes are at the dry cleaner and the other half are dirty, and I need to go to work outfit.
I am allergic to belts--I don't own a single one, but I think your suggestions are great about looking into belts and longer beads.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Christie, the first outfit with the aqua cardi and ruffled blouse was my favorite. Your tan lace-up boots are adorable. I'd rather see grey or black instead of the green stockings and think a jacket or vest or maybe a belt would be good with this outfit.
The only other suggestion would be a longer necklace or a scarf with the sheath dress outfit. The aqua beads seem too short to my eye with this outfit, but I could be all wrong.
You have some great pieces in neutrals and color to work with. Have you tried belts?

I have been threatening (myself, really) to post some outfits of what I wear to work. I am an attorney for a non-profit, so, except when we go to Court or meet with clients, the dress code is quite casual. Some of my colleagues have been known to show up in work in shorts and crocs. I like to dress up, even though I don't have to. I wear business casual, though from time to time I might wear more smart casual. Here are four of my outfits from last week.
http://s511.photobucket.com/al.....20Outfits/
If it asks for a password, it is onlyforylf.

I would love your feedback. I've gained quite a bit of weight over the last year (for me), so I really dislike the way all of these photos look (that and I always have red eye). Some perspective other than my very jaded and my husband's complimentary would be good.
