Little of both depending on the occasion, but mostly business, which is why I was leaning toward Felicity Smoak (star of the Pinterest board and my closet dreams) for guidance. In the show she does IT, Desk Service, and then she runs the F500 company so she seemed a good Office to Not Office multifunction closet example. Plus the flirty yet office appropriate vibe is how I see myself dressing when I don't need yo wear a uniform 9 hours a day. My worry: Are the heels too high or the colors too bright for the office? Are the hemlines okay? Also I'm curvy so what if my body makes the outfit inappropriate?

I like somd oc the Pinterest. The Pinup has no business! I think that's the key question-- is it a serious business-wear need but your figure type skews bombshell- that can be lovely, feminine for sure but covered, good skimming fits( fit at the waist but not tight; pencil skirts but not severe taper and mincing walk). Also works best with good quality fabrics, so fewer but well- made pieces. Or is it tongue- in- cheek " business" and you are going for overtly sexy date night look. Different goals = different clothes.

I'm not much of a cleavage person anyhow, my boobs don't look as pretty that way as the P.U.G models' do lol. What about things like this?

Interesting question. I don't define myself as business bombshell, but just based on the two sites you linked to, I would say that the Pinterest board is more of what I envision by this term. I felt like the Pinup Clothing site was a little too overtly sexy. In my mind, business bombshell is fitted but not tight. Necklines might be low, but not too low so as to expose cleavage--although you could wear a very tight, low-cut top if you had a buttoned blazer over it to tone it down (the top would then function like a cami or tank). I think the Pinup Clothing site was just too much of the bombshell part and not enough of the business part.

Hi Broadearthqueen! Love your Pinterest boards. You should check out Ms Mary's outfits. I think she described herself as a Business Bombshell. When I started out at YLF almost 5 years ago (!) I was trying to figure out what my style persona was (here's the original thread--blast from the past!), and we came up with Demure Bombshell. Here are a few pics from 2011 that epitomized DB for me (1-4). I think the bombshell part of BB or DB is the fitted waist, pencil skirts, heels, red, leopard, etc. but the business/demure side tones down the overt sexy to make it more business appropriate. I also liked the retro aspect and thought of myself as a 1940's secretary with the pussy bow blouses and pencil skirts. I don't know if DB really fully describes me anymore, I've developed a little darker/tougher/edgier Urban Warrior Princess side to my persona, yet am still feminine and polished. I posted a thread about my post-apocalyptic style evolution and they said I'm prepared for the zombie apocalypse and called me a Zombshell. LOL I'll take it! Here's a couple more pics of my current Zombshell style (5-7). I think I've gone from secretary to boss. Oh and I haven't totally lost my love of color, here are a few more of the retro colorful Bombshell-y outfits a la Mad Men that I just wore (8-9). Can't wait to see your take on Bombshell. A lot of people here say they can't or don't want to dress Bombshell but I'm a fan!

In my opinion (and I am no expert), the Pinterest board you reference has some very good examples of what I would consider "Business Bombshell". To me, that style oozes femininity without being overtly sexy or veering full out into pinup territory. Flirty fit and flare dresses, fun and colorful pencil skirts, beautifully draped silky blouses, pretty pumps, and nicely fitted (but not tight) jackets and toppers come to mind when I envision this style persona. The other website (Pinup Girl Clothing) shows a style that, to me, is more "retro/glam bombshell". Some of these outfits might not be right for an office environment, but would certainly be fun for evening wear. I love your term "bohemian warrior queen" -- I am definitely in the Amazon category and may have to borrow this description. ;-)

So...some of the personas are pretty self explanatory. But some days I'm a bohemian warrior queen (What can I say, I'm a fangirl for the Amazonian warriors) and others the dieselpunk Business bombshell. Speaking of how strictly would you define the Business bombshell

persona? https://www.pinupgirlclothing......esses.html Would some of these count? https://www.pinterest.com/sear.....ity%7Cauto... what about these, would these be a modern take?

Dieselpunk fashion blends the styles commonly found during the diesel era with contemporary styles to create a fusion of both.
