And burgundy works well in a navy and grey wardrobe, I have found. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/burgundy-and-navy-on-a-rainy-friday#post-1113039 Fri, 13 Dec 2013 16:29:12 +0000 MuseumGal 1113039@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I've been wanting to try these burgundy pants with navy, so today I tried it with this LS boatneck navy T shirt.&nbsp; Since it's raining, I pulled out these under-utilized brown Chelsea boots which seem to have become fashionable while they've been hiding in the back of my closet for the past 10 years or so.&nbsp; Clever boots!&nbsp; Yay for homegrown vintage!&nbsp; I decided I needed a scarf to break up what looked like an endless expanse of navy colored boobs and belly.&nbsp; This burgundy/navy/brown paisley scarf has been waiting its whole life for this ensemble, I think.&nbsp; Finished it off with a longish navy blazer, a vintage navy Coach Court bag, garnet hoop earrings, burgundy lippy, and a pretty wood barrette.&nbsp; I figure hair accessories don't count since you don't seem them at the same time as the front accessories.&nbsp; Right?&nbsp; Right.&nbsp; </p> <p>I'm pretty pleased with this.&nbsp; I think it looks better/more interesting in person than it photographs.&nbsp; It's a very "me" ensemble in silhouette but encompasses something new - the burgundy pants that I had begun to despair of figuring how to wear in my primarily blue/grey/black wardrobe.&nbsp; Suggestions to improve always welcome. </p>
