I'm sure it would go with other colours but those are the main ones in my wardrobe! They have served you well!<br />I love houndstooth with burgundy, and camel as well.&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/burgundy-and-black#post-1103652 Tue, 03 Dec 2013 17:20:45 +0000 MuseumGal 1103652@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I am the last person on the planet to jump on the colored bottoms bandwagon - here is my first attempt with the burgundy trousers.&nbsp; I went simple and paired it with a black T for my first outing.&nbsp; I added a geometric print red silk scarf in my hair and rarely worn black leather lace-up boots I've had since the 90s (as if the square toe doesn't give that away).&nbsp; I think of these as my "newsboy" boots.&nbsp; Over it all goes a black cord jacket that hasn't been in worn in years.&nbsp; I don't know why not because it fits well and is wonderfully comfortable.</p> <p>I swapped out jewelry at the last minute - the neckline of the T was crawling up and obscuring the rose coral necklace so I put on a longer necklace featuring a pretty piece of lace agate, and swapped out my white coin pearl dangly hoops for a simpler pair of hoops with a single red pearl drop.&nbsp; </p> <p>I quite like this, but I suspect I'll have a minor crisis next time around when I try to pair the burgundy with something other than black ... </p>
