I've found the Burberry runs small and a little narrow.

I am a consistent size 2p in Gap, BR, Loft, and usually between an XSP and SP - lately I tend to go with the SP for a more fluid fit. My newly acquired Burberry trench is a US 6. The 6 fit perfectly in the shoulders. It was then altered to have the belt moved higher, sleeves shortened, and the buttons moved OUT just a pinch.

So yes, Burburry sizing runs small!

I think Burberry London is what they call a "trim" fit because the garments are fitted through the chest, armholes and sides. I'd guess that the L size was closer to a US10 than a US12.

Joy, I only saw number sizing on the chart not S-M-L. Do you know what number size translates to L for Burberry? I'm guessing 10-12 and sadly you're probably right. L might not be L enough.

Did you look at the size chart on the page for this jacket? It looks like it would run a bit small. I have jackets ( Calvin Klein and JCrew) that fit well and are XS. I want to replace a puffer coat and jacket that are both XS. According to the Burberry jacket chart I would need a S or M. The jacket is beautiful! Now I want one too.

I am a us 8 normally and I take a us 10 in most Burberry London coats, if that helps. I don't know how that translates to s/m/l though. I sometimes need a 12 in the slimmer cuts for my hips but then the top is too big.

Therein lies the problem, JayS. L is the biggest size available, so if it is anything but really TTS I will be sized out wah

Guess I won't know until I try it, huh? Still not sure I am ready to spend $$$ on a jacket, but knowing I have basically one jacket right now makes me open to it more than ever.

Don't know that I can be much help here, but I have 3 Burberry Coats/jackets. They are all Burberry Brit so I'm not sure if London is sized the same. Two of mine are sized small, the other is more TTS. In the smaller ones, one size up fits perfectly. I think I would order both a TTS and 1 size up to be safe. Love the jacket, and Burberry is very well made with attention to detail. Good luck!

I saw this on the NAS pre-selection page and am kinda sorta half heartedly considering it, as I know my coat capsule is sorely lacking.

http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bu.....et/3794086

However...I know I am size L in most tops nowadays, and the Nordies site says it runs TTS..but is that TTS for DESIGNER size L, or is it "average Joe" size L? I have heard Burberry can run small(er). I am a consistent size L in BR, Gap, Loft, etc, nowadays, but have not ventured into designer-land for fear of being sized out.

If anyone has experience with this jacket or line, please let me know.
