I'm so glad the surgery went well! <br /><br />I am about to schedule my hysterectomy, and the hope is that it will be straightforward enough to keep it just to laparoscopy (I have a number of significant uterine fibroids). I'm a big wimp because I've never had surgery before. So, hyster-sister,&nbsp;I'm especially happy to hear your procedure went well.&nbsp;<br /><br />As for the bone loss, I understand that must be hard to hear. A dear friend of mine has been through four rounds of treatment over the last twelve years for multiple myeloma (and yes, she is a total outlier and has amazed her doctors for &nbsp;years, she also has a wonderful attitude). She has lost five inches in height and I don't even know how much bone density, and all at the age of 45. But she keeps on rocking! She and her husband and four kids are planning a big national park tour this summer.&nbsp;<br /><br />I see her positive attitude and warm spirit in you as well. And they brought my sister ( who is mentally disabled and can't drive ) to see me. I had to pinch myself looking at the four of us who have known each other for 44 years ! &nbsp;It was such a treat.&nbsp;<br /><br />My family in Portugal is utterly baffled that the US is taking out lady parts with no incisions. The surgery took 2.5 hours longer than expected because of the endometriosis, by the surgeon was able to do it &nbsp;laproscopically. I am so lucky to have access to such amazing doctors.
