It was horrible. But today we went birding with perfect weather - 40s this morning, 70s now. We saw a nest of great horned owls, with three babies. I've been comparing with pics from this time last year in my photos app and in those I'm in short sleeves and skirts and the daffodils are in full bloom. Right now it's about 4˚ C and not supposed to get much above 10˚. It's miserable rainy weather and I seem to end up in some combo of jeans, boots, down and Gore-Tex every day. We have crocuses and grape hyacinths starting to bloom but the daffodils and tulips are waiting for sunshine and higher temps. Sugaring season was late and slow to get started, too. Spring is hesitant this year. For me, this is the hardest weather to get dressed for.
