I can see a slight boxiness but the fit is pretty good. I could size down in the pants but in all honesty, my weight fluctuates and I’d rather have them comfortable at my winter weight. If I could move my arms in the 2, I would size down in the blazer because the 4 is a little wide around the middle when buttoned (but I’d probably never wear it that way.)</p> <p>@suntiger: Thank you! Thanks!!<br /> While I am participating in SYC, I am not in no shop mode. These are the reasons why. Deep discounts on the brown metallic pieces I’ve been pining after. Finally settled on the proper sizes. Feel free to talk me out of any of them or all. The brown metallic plaid suit is so nice! I’ve been looking for some dressier pieces—skewing classic but not too conservative that I could wear as a “suit” or as separates. As much as I would like to, I don’t wear dressy dresses at least in winter because I get too cold. What I like about this suit is it makes a statement when worn together—it looks intentional but I could also see wearing either piece separately as well without looking crazy. I thought gold would be nice but it is just too much and I am trying to avoid black. This metallic brown seemed to fit the bill and coordinates with the other pieces—and denim. My default dressy outfits for the last couple of years has been bootcuts with a velveteen blazer. They work but never feel particularly special—maybe because they’re also my default dressed up work look. Would love your opinion! Thanks in advance! </p>
