Since it is an evening wedding, however, you can get away with longer and more, well, evening looks. Do you have something you could wear with the second dress, like a little jacket that dresses it down a bit? </p> <p>Style-wise I'm trying to imagine dress #2 as an elegant skirt paired with something like a more tailored jacket with scrunched sleeves that give just a touch of casual effort-lessness, compared to looking like you're going to the fund-raising ball. If you have other options,I would not wear either of these. I think "formal attire" and formal weddings are not the same. I also think you can wear a " cocktail" type dress, in the sense that there are so many styles, and you can add cardigan/ blazer &amp; different shoes , so it would just depend on the final look.
