Rae, you are such a savvy Ebay shopper! It never would have occurred to me that the shirts listed may be old enough that they size differently than those currently for sale. Thanks for the tip.

One more thing, Rae, is that I have both tailored and fitted ones, so there is a difference in each of them, as Angie says.

Good point, rae - about the era of the Ebay shirts! Unless you asked the sellers to give you any missing measurement - like sleeve length, etc.

Sometimes I think Ebay items might even have been tailored/altered and there's no mention of it (or a reseller wouldn't necessarily know). But a disappointing surprise for a buyer who thought they knew the garment.

I wear a zero in the Tailored fit and it's still roomy on me - albeit the length, sleeve length and shoulder width are perfect. But I actually don't mind this fit at all because it achieves a more relaxed vibe when I scrunch the sleeves and pop the collar. It's still fitted - just not tailored - which is kind of hilarious given the name of the style :). I wear these in white all the time and have 3. They are my "t-shirts".

I don't expect anything to fit me like my *perfectly tailored* Anne Fontaine shirts. So my expectations are managed.

Refugee, good to know that their sizing chart is accurate! I wonder if they have changed fits over time... who knows how old the ones on Ebay are - what was considered their "fitted" style ten years ago may be completely different now (would explain why some 2s have a 37 inch chest).

I think maybe I'll have to wait awhile to get a new shirt, so that I can pick out the right thing in-store, like many have suggested.

I have a BB tailored fit shirt that I love. As I do not have a BB store anywhere near me, I purchased mine online. I selected my size based on my measurements, as I usually do when I purchase something online for the first time. Sometimes this is accurate and sometimes it is not. With BB it was absolutely accurate and my shirt fits perfectly. I would suggest taking a look at the sizing chart at the BB website and base your size selection on that.

Hm. I have the fitted shirt in black and white, and the size 6 fits me perfectly, and that seems to be my usual size in tops lately (I'm a 32DDD).

Rae, I wear a 2P in the BB non-iron shirts I really love them, but did spend some time in the SCP store trying on a 2P, 2, 4, & 4P just to be sure. The arms were long on some or just wide in the waist. I wanted a very slim and fitted look. The 2P was my size, but it took work. I'm a 32D. When you pull the trigger, you will love them.

Sorry if this is already out there somewhere, but I couldn't find it... I see that some of you have said to size up in the tailored vs. the fitted BB shirts, but what about compared to your regular size?

I've been Ebay stalking these for a loooong time and have asked a few sellers for measurements, and they say the fitted 2 has a 37(!) inch bust? That seems huge to me, like I would want to get a 0 in the slimmer, tailored fit. BUT, their size chart says a 2 should fit a 33-inch chest - and I know I'm larger than Taylor, who mentioned in an old thread that she has a 0.

Any insights? I have yet to pull the trigger on anything because the measurements sound so weird.
