I do think the shirt is a little glaring... I'll try a colored one. Also a subtle pattern in the shirt might be worth trying as well. I think with all the solid colors the outfit needs some texture or pattern.

I'll try to find a better spot to take pictures.. The lighting makes it hard to see the colors shoes....

I like to see others pull off this kind of look because I cannot do it.
I agree that a diferent top would bring the outfit together.

The tights are cool. Go for black top it you wish to change the top and black shoes (miss matchy matchy that's me here again). LOL.

Oh! I just discovered a couple of pairs of teal tights in my closet too... off to check out Kate Spade for styling ideas!

I agree with the other ladies - I'd go with something other than white on top. If you want to stay neutral, I think grey would work. And maybe it's just the photo but it really looks like you are not wearing any shoes here, so I might up the contrast of the shoes a little bit too.

Glad you saved the rights and looked on Kate Spade for inspiration. Yes, lower the contrast and it will be a winner.

I'm on Team Christieanne on this one. I like her idea of a darker color other than white for the top. The tights sound fun!

Kind of cool but I think the white top is too stark. Change over the top and I think its rather fun.

I like the tights but maybe with a lower contrast top. Something tonal or a companion color to teal instead of white? Even pick up a deep purple in the top. Sounds crazy but the white shirt is out of place in my eye. How did they style them on Spade website? Good opportunity for me to browse

I was looking at the Kate spade site and was reminded of some bright tights I kept from my high school days. I was inspired to bust them out but not sure how to wear them... What do you think of this attempt? Is the middle too business and the legs too outlandish? Yes - those are turquoise tights with green shoes and a purple scarf. I thought it'd be best to keep the middle a little more sedate given the colors of the shoes/tights/scarf.

Opinions/ suggestions/ constructive criticism please! Am I totally off base here?

Thank you!!
