(Not to hijack your thread, Michelle!)

Tara, would you mind posting a picture of yourself in the white shirt? It is on my "would love to save $$ for" list for the Fall, and since you and I have both noted that we have similar body shapes & challenges, I'd love a chance to see it on you if you don't mind sharing.

You're all fabulous, thanks as always! Kristen, seriously, you're one of the best at verbal descriptions I've ever come across! Angie, thanks for emailing Carissa, that's super helpful! After all the fantastic feedback, I'm really looking forward to doing business with her, and of course to trying these shirts.

Kristen, you rock. Thanks for your attention to detail for our dear, Michelle.

Michelle, you are going to LOVE these shirts. The colours you have selected are fabulous. A brunette in blue is a no-brainer.

I set up the product wearer trial between manufacturer Carissa and forum member Nicole. Nicole was very impressed with the product. Carissa is an absolute honey so I hope she chimes in and gives you her special TLC. You will adore her like we all do on YLF.

Tara!!! I never knew you tried the Carissa shirt too! I want to see it on. Please share!

I ordered the basic white shirt from Carissa, and really like it. I think the blue would be fantastic on you, with your coloring.

Carissa is so generous with her help, and will give you personal customer service if you mention you're on YLF. She may even see this post!

I have done business with Carissa of Bratique Helene and I can report that she is a doll. You can't go wrong with this company. Their merchandise is top notch also.

Both shirts are solids with no patterns.

1. The 3/4 sleeve is collared with a kind-of-low looking vee-neck, that wraps just under the bust. The wrap part is a 2-inch band that goes all the way around the top, and there is a bow tie on the left side. (It's hard to tell because there is only one photo and it's a side view of the wrong side. Weird!) It says 3/4-sleeve, but the sleeve is pretty long down the arm and it folds up at the end. It's French blue, which is a bright, bold blue that I happen to think is universally flattering. It's a nice shirt, but you would have to try it on to see if it works; wraps are so hard to judge on busty gals until you've had it on your particular body!

2. I absolutely could see you in this one, especially under a jacket. It's silky and sleeveless, and the teal is a dusty versus a bright. It's collarless and there's a great vee-neck which is kind of rare for shells like this. I really like that detail a lot! Then under the chest area, the shirt becomes fitted and flows straight down to the end.

This is a really fabulous shirt for busty gals, in my opinion, because it takes into account what other shells do wrong on our bodies; often the top part will look great, but then once the fabric falls off the "shelf" area, it resembles a sack that we're hiding our bellies in because it will just hang straight down. That this one becomes fitted at that point is a really clever touch. I also adore the vee-neck instead the frequent straight-across neck of most shells.

I would definitely try the second one too, if I were you. Heck, I might try it myself!

I came across Angie's blog post on Bratique Helene, a store that specializes in woven tops for the bustalicious. I'm thinking of giving them a try if their designs are pretty. Here are the two items I'm looking at, I'd be grateful for your input!
1. A 3/4-sleeve wrap shirt in french blue. What's the pattern, and how would the colour be on me?
http://www.bratiquehelene.com/.....-p-36.html

2. A sleeveless teal shell. Talk about practical, if the look is right!
http://www.bratiquehelene.com/.....-p-32.html

Thanks, all. And a special shout-out to Nicole, the original reviewer. If you're still on this forum, how was the delivery time on your order? It sure sounds like you had great customer service!
