Definitely makes sense. Thanks for explaining. I swear I learn more at YLF everyday than I ever did. No scrubs but I am in gloves and a below-knee length labcoat handling nasties and bleach, so it is a sweats kind of day.

When a woman is short waisted, short under the arm, etc. necklines can be too low and therefore show the top of the center gore of the bra. That is why I recommend a plunge to short waisted full bust women.

Soft cup styles are hard to come by in that size range. Here is a recent blog post on the subject: http://bratiquehelene.blogspot.....l#comments

Wicking fabric, to my knowledge, only comes in sports bras. Have you tried a lower impact one? If you're wearing scrubs/lab coat all day it is definitely an option.

Kristen - Yep, I am going to try the NAS to find some bras.

Rute - I can't tell from the link what model it is but I have the link bookmarked and will be looking out for it.

Carissa - Thanks for the suggestions. Is there a reason why you suggest the plunge bra for the short-waisted. I have the balcony style of the Fantasie bra and I love it but not for hot sweaty days in the lab because of the synthetic material. Ideally, I'd like a nice cotton/dri-weave type soft-cup bra. But, I guess I can't be too choosy at the size I am.

Christine - I like the pretty details in that bra. I'll try it out when I get a chance.

I have the second one that Carissa posted, and I can vouch for its comfort. (I also wear a 32f.) The other bra that I have that I love is:
http://www.lorettasintimates.c....._2691.aspx

I need to get new bras, but I'll just be repurchasing these same ones in different colors.

I recommend a three part seamed cup, and if you're short waisted I would say go plunge, something like http://www.lorettasintimates.c....._2321.aspx

But hands down the most popular bra i put clients in is: http://www.lorettasintimates.c....._4510.aspx

I think they are both 8 hour days.

I'm a 90D (european size) and I recent bought a playtex

http://www.izideal.pt/product/1966776/

Its so comfy, the fit is divine and it's wire free.

Get thee to a lingerie department or store where they do fittings, and they will make a great suggestion for you. I always rely on my lingerie salespeople to find me the right bra.

I spend so much time in the lab some days that the underwires are just not comfy. I am looking for a wire-free bra that is not a sports-bra (too hot) but still provides a modicum of support. An 8-hr bra if you will.

I am short-waisted and take a 32F/34E in UK sizes. My favorite underwire styles are balcony bras (since I am bottom-heavy).
Please help.
