Thanks Angie. I think that I would probably only need a small alteration, so it will be interesting to see what is possible.

I am quite proud of the weightloss, and am feeling 100 times better than I did this time last year about my size.

Congrats on the weight loss!

You can have bras altered, but not to a great extreme. Have your fitting, bring your bras and perhaps the pros can offer suggestions on whether it's possible.

Over the last 6 months I have lost about 8kgs and have lost about 2kgs in the last couple of weeks, the result being that I am all of my bras are now too big in the band. The cup seems to be fine in most of them.

I am going to get myself fitted this weekend, but I can't afford to replace all of my underwear in one go.

Has anyone ever attempted to alter a bra band? I know that it wouldn't be the perfect solution, but since I want to loose another 5 kgs it might be a less costly one. I am presuming that you may have to move the straps as well?

For those of you who have gone up/down sizes what has your replacement strategy been?

Thank you

Fi

PS - for those of you using imperial weights - 1kg = 2.2lbs
