Be sure to get a bra fitting, at Nordstrom if possible. Being very small I thought for years that I needed something smaller than an A cup, but was shocked that I needed a smaller band size (also have wide rib cage) and a D cup. The SA found me inexpensive bras that actually gave me a little cleavage! I was wearing 34 A or almost A and really needed a 30D ( 32C also fits ok ). Try Calvin Klein or Betsy Johnson bras. There is usually a selection at Nordstrom Rack for less with 90 day returns.

The style of bra could be important. My breasts are fleshier at the bottom and shallower at the top, and there is a lot of extra room in regular cups. I have to get a demi cup, which is like half a cup, with the top half cut off.

Thanks so much! I didn't even know there was such a thing as smaller than an A cup. No store in my area carries them. I just thought I was forever doomed to have terrible bra choice. Everything I read people say small busted girls don't need bras anyway. After 17 years of wearing badly fitting bras, I'm excited to give one of these sites a try! The most promising looks to be Lulalu

Have you tried Lula Lu? https://www.lulalu.com/ I am small busted too and their bras fit me best by far. I followed their instructions to find the right size for me. It ended up being far different than what I have been told at prior Nordstrom fittings, yet their bras fit me perfectly. They may suggest a smaller cup size (they go down to AAA) with a 36 band. Good luck!

I usually end up with bralettes for the same reason. I don't often find them with padding however, typically only with double layer material. Aerie did have soem lightly padded ones last year and I got a couple but I prefer a hook closure to a pull on style.

This one is not too bad but I would try both a M and L as the L has to be hooked at the tightest level for me or it feels like it is rubbing with the additional hook closures. I probably could use a M but haven't tried yet.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....#038;psc=1

I think Soma had some bralettes that would fit the bill when I was in there the other day. The saleswomen were very helpful in listening to my needs and finding just what I asked for.

Have you tried any lightly padded bralettes? Something like this from Athleta: http://athleta.gap.com/browse/.....=591295052 or Aerie? I think bralettes/less binding sports bras (non-uniboob type--see Title Nine?) might be the budget choice. There are also some specialty bra providers--a friend with similar measurements to yours swears by Lula Lu bras (but a bit $$): https://www.lulalu.com.

I have a very small bust (think Keira Knightley) but a wider rib cage. My cup size should be a 30A but my band width is more like 36. 36A cup is way too big and the cups hang out. Even if I get a 30A, with a band expander, the cups are too close together and leave alot of space on either side of the cups. Which looks very unnatural. I'm not a very small person, so my very small bust looks really out of proportion with my wide hips and legs. I just want a padded bra that fits over my bust nicely, leaves the appropriate space between cups, and fits around my ribs without being tight. Does such a thing exist? Also is it possible to get a padded bra that doesn't have underwire? Because I don't need the support obviously. I just need a size and shape change.
