Has anyone else seen True&Co.? Apparently it is a new online bra fitting service - but I have seen it pop up on my Facebook newsfeed a few times now. Curious to see if anyone has tried it yet...

A fellow Oklahoman! I was at the same life point as you are about 5 1/2 years ago. After much trial and error, I ended up going to the Lingerie Store here in Oklahoma City. They did a pretty good fitting at the time. After I stopped nursing my size changed quite a bit (understandably) and I made do with educated guesses. Finally, this past October I went to Intimacy in Dallas. We were down there for other reasons, but I would say that it would be worth the trip - but maybe after you're done nursing. I left with 4 bras that fit me like a glove. The fitting experience was amazing. I have a small ribcage and rarely find bras that fit in the department stores. My fitter kept bringing bra after bra that fit! And a few times what seemed like a fit to me did not to her - I appreciated the expert eye. The bras were quite expensive, but well worth it. I even got one altered to fit a little tighter b/c it's going to be primarily a strapless for me. So, I'd recommend finding a local store now and then saving up for a fun trip south to Dallas. Not sure what the nursing bra selection is at intimacy.

I would buy an ordinary bra and alter it into a nursing bra. It is easy if you already have a worn out nursing bra, but otherwise you need to find the special clips in an online shop or if you can't find them use bikini clips.Google clips nursing bra and you will find them. I made a tutorial in Dutch http://www.xs4all.nl/~hhayes/N.....vbeha.html . If you ask me sweetly I will translate the whole lot for you. The most important bit is about choosing the right bra. read this thread from the start where Maya gives great advice all the way to the end where I talk about nursing bras http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ing-thread

Hi Becky (love your username, btw, it's one of my signature colours) :)

I would search high and low for a store that specializes in bra fitting, because honestly the experience can't compare with a department store fitting. A Nordstrom-style experience would likely help your situation out a fair bit, but if you can find a proper lingerie boutique, you stand a better chance of hearing the right advice and having a bigger selection of bras to try on. I'm extremely busty myself, and I can honestly say that a bra fitting will revolutionize the way you feel about your clothes and overall style.
Best of luck with the hunt and let us know how it goes.

Becky, if there is no Intimacy or Nordstrom nearby and you can't get to one (I don't think that there are any Intimacy stores in that area--there are only a few in the country), I would recommend going online and googling Tulsa bra shops. There should be some specialty stores that sell bras. Then go to Yelp and see if any of them get good reviews for doing a proper fitting.

I'm near Tulsa, Oklahoma. I'll check to see where the nearest Nordstrom's is and look up Intimacy - thanks!

A good bra will make everything look and fit better! Where are you? Intimacy is supposed to be the best. I have to drive an hour to get to a Nordstrom's, but it's worth it.

Any tips on where to go for a bra fitting? No Nordstrom's here, unfortunately. I am currently nursing an 8.5 month-old and have been wearing a nursing tank every day in lieu of a real bra. Almost no support and probably not the best look, but so easy and convenient for keeping my tummy covered while I feed Betty. I think it's time to find some real bras but don't know where to look, especially since I still need nursing styles.

I always put off bra shopping - I think I'm in denial. I dislike my big bust and wish I could ignore it, but I'm sure that's not the right path to looking my best.
