I should look into this as i think my real band size is 36 front/32 back, so a lot of times the 34 is too narrow in front. I've tried to alter 36s myself but felt like I was damaging the structure of the bra because of all the elastic. The lingerie wizards/alterations gurus at Nordstrom worked some serous magic and did a beautiful job altering my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale bras, taking the band in.<br /> I can barely tell where their alterations begin. </p> <p>And hooray, I have a properly fitted bra again! YAY! It supports, band doesn't shift or fold, everything is in contact with my body. So much better. </p> <p>Just wanted to let others know that altering a bra to make the band smaller when the cup fits properly is totally an option. Cost was $42 total to alter 3 bras.
