JayS, it's hard to say because I am comparing the 25 regular/short versus 26P. I am used to regulars being scaled down in all ways, not just length, so I assumed the 25 regulars would fit essentially the same as the 26's in rise and all that. But they don't. I have to imagine the 25 regular/shorts would fit nearly the same as the 26P's, does that make sense? So 26 regular/short would be equivalent to 26P. But who knows. I've only got these two to compare!

Angie- I'm still on the fence here. The 25S's do feel okay comfortable, but my DD now home from college says the 25S's look great from the rear but not from the front. And I think she's right. And this is my jeans dilemma. The 26P's are looser but I fear they are TOO loose. That said, I'm going to give it some more time and wear both around the house some more before I make up my mind.

And speaking of pointy toes I got the 37 Fidgi's from Zappos and they are keepers!

These sound really nice. Question for you... is the difference between the short and the petite just the rise or do you see other differences? I've always wondered about this.

I'm not sure if these are the same construction as the ones I got about 18 months ago, mine shrunk ALOT in both length and overall fit. I ended up donating them. I got the 25 regular, I am 5'3". They were generously long before I washed them and too short for any type of heel after, the fact that they were also more snug all over likely contributed to that. They still fit but not the way I wanted them to. I don't know if this is any help to you:-/

Follow up from this thread:
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-continues

I rec'd them today, I ordered 25 Short and 26P to compare....

I tried the 26P on first and they fit just right, VERY comfortable! The rise hits just below the belly button, and the waist is comfortable and not tight. The length is on the long side, would need hemming. Fit very much like my favorite black dress pants, except of course they are dark wash denim.

I played around with them for awhile, trying on different tops, like how they look with tops tucked. But the more i played around, the more I realized they were stretching already ... and I hadn't even sat down.

So I got out the 25 Short, which when I first tried them on, I could barely button,. They hit just slightly lower than the 26P, but not too bad -- if the waistband would give a bit, otherwise, dreaded muffin top. The length is pretty much the same as the 26P, maybe a tad ever shorter, but still needing hemming, unless they shrink in the wash.

I have been sitting in the 25 Shorts for about an hour now and I can feel them stretching away... these might actually be the better bet! They are actually rather comfortable, though not as comfy as the 26P, which I could sleep in. Maybe that's too loose, eh?

But DH just got home so now i have to run.

(I know, pictures, pictures! The DD's are home soon on break so I may be able to get some help there.)
