I also have 5 pairs of Sloans! 4 of the slim ankle, although they are full length on me, and 1 pair of straights. Mine have slight variation in the fit, but are all true to size. I find that they do bag out some in the bum by the end of the day, but the front view does not change much and I go by what I see in the mirror and just choose not to look at the rear view after the initial morning check They recover nicely after washing. I'm deep in work and school projects which is why I haven't been able to post lately!</p> <p>Based on your recommendations on a previous post I made, I decided to try out the Banana Republic Sloans again. I managed to FINALLY nab the right size (I always get one a size larger or smaller) and LO AND BEHOLD!!! They FIT like a dream! Thanks to everyone who recommended these pants!</p> <p>You may also know that I've been burned in the past by dress pants and jeans that sag and bag in the bum and knee area - increasing the size by one or two pant sizes. This happened with my last experience with the Gap Ultra Skinnies.</p> <p>So to anyone who owns and loves their pairs of sloans, I have two questions: </p> <ol> <li>Do they sag and bag at the bum and the knee area after minutes/hours of wear?&nbsp;</li> <li>How consistent is the fit? I'm looking to search for sloans on eBay, hoping there would be some more fun/colourful fabrications (from previous seasons) than what BR has to offer as of late.</li> </ol> <p>I'm really looking to invest in these sloans and I'm quite excited how long the trouser/bootcut made my legs look!</p> <p>PS. Also seeing that BR has velvet sloans... I'm quite excited as velvet is one of my favourite textures (except for the fact that it's a cat hair magnet). </p>
