I'm glad the length looks intentional. I wore it around the house a bit and found that the hemline makes for easy striding. I didn't have to fuss with it even going up the stairs. A pleasant surprise because that's what drives me batty about my actual maxi dress--hard to walk in without tripping on the hem. I also love that it's short enough that I can wear flats!
