Oh, I've seen that sweater in the store and liked the buttons on it. I also found JCrew's wool to be itchy on a shorter length v-neck cardi I ordered, but not unbearably so. Thanks for the info!

Yes, it is super comfortable. It's not a petite size, it's the JCrew black wool cardigan with the crystal buttons - size XS. I have to be careful what I wear under it because the wool can be itchy.

It looks great on you! Is it really comfortable, and how did you get one the right length? Is it a petite size?

I'm a pear and I wear my boyfriend cardigan often. Mine is a bit shorter as Angie mentioned in her post. Here's a pic...

http://i288.photobucket.com/al.....G_1083.jpg

I like it because it's comfortable and I think it looks good. :-)

Edited to say that I'm also petite (5'3 1/2")

No, I've never found anything, and as a pear, I don't think this is my best look this season ... I'll be focusing on others instead! Also I remember wearing this in the 80s and it was never very comfortable (cardi scrunched up with jeans every time I stood up, constantly messing with the belt to get it to stay in the right place, ugh).

I've tried a few times, but it never seems to look right. The closest I've come to a boyfriend is a long open cardigan I found at ON Outlet last year; the front edges slope away in a curve instead of squaring off to the buttons in the front, so it ends up looking more flattering. I wore it in my photos last week, but I'll try it with something else this week and see if I can get it to come out better in pictures.

I was inspired by the blog post this morning to re-try boyfriend cardigans. I've tried several on in the past and didn't get a thumbs up.
Do we have a pretty pear among us that has tried this look successfully? I particularly like the look of a floral silk dress with a boyfriend cardigan.
