I was very lucky, which surprised me, as I've always felt that I had to try a shoe on in a store before purchasing. These shoes feel wonderful and they look wonderful, too!

I've popped on a strip of moleskin on the back and am walking around the house with the booties on. I think this will work. I think it's a combination of the elastic being a bit stiff and where it hits me on the heel. They are very comfortable otherwise and fit absolutely perfectly. I'm tough Canadian prairie girl - I'm gonna MAKE them work!!!

I have not found that part of the bootie uncomfy, Shannon. This is surprising because I usually can't tolerate that type of thing on a shoe.

The peep-toe starts to rub after 3 hrs of shopping.

Una - they fit width wise no problem and the comfort level everywhere else on the shoe is good. It's just that darned elastic.

Just picked up both moleskin and the silicone heel guards (thanks for the tip Christieanne) and will try them around the house tonight. I love these shoes and really want them to work!

Back elastic on shoes always bothers me and I have narrow heel. There are silicone heel guards on the market that are similar to moleskin. You can break that are in but it seems to take forever.

I had that issue plus the width was too narrow. But I have really wide feet.

So I just got my Boutique 9 peep toe oxfords (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ss-oxfords) and they fit perfectly. Love the colour and the style.

BUT...the elastic on the heel is kinda painful. They are super comfy otherwise so I'm going to try a strip of Dr. Scholl's "moleskin", which I've used before. But I'm not sure it will stay put because of the elastic.

Has anybody else noticed this issue? If so, any suggestions to make these work?
