I was in a Nordstroms yesterday and tried these on in black in a 7M, my usual Born boot size.&nbsp;</p> <p>They were surprisingly good. The slightest snugness that I think would have been gone with a little wear. I didn't get them because I had convinced myself they were too similar to an existing pair of burgundy bella vitas.</p> <p>Specifically, the toe was fine with a light Icebreaker merino wool running sock, and with my orthotics and a thinner sock. I ordered my usual size, I.e. didn’t size up. With a normal for me winter sock, it was tight in the forefoot. I didn’t bother to try on the other boot. Perhaps it would have loosened with wear, but I wasn’t motivated to try. Has anyone with wide feet tried on the Born Cardi Boots? I REALLY need &nbsp;width at little toe area. I have a 6.5W or D width foot. I saw Angie mentioned sizing up. Knitting Gene mentioned them working on her high volume foot.</p> <p>I adore my Born Pirlos in a 7M, but last year's Karava top pick at NAS was a no go - it looks like it Cardi may have a similar pointier toe unlike the the rounder toe Pirlos.</p> <p>Any other experience with an actual D width foot, and if so what size did you take compared to your typical wide shoe-with-thin-socks size.</p> <p>Also is the hardware on the Cognac Cardi going to clash with my mostly silver hardware? It looks more neutral in the photos.</p> </p>
