I think the Boutique 9 Rusty boot could be a great choice if you like the look but are limited on the number of boots you can get. I think it's a great go-to choice, because it rates high for comfort from lots of people (you're not going to reach very often for a boot or shoe that's not comfy) and I think it's a good neutral color that will go with so much. If it's a style you like and you can see if fitting into your wardrobe well, then I think it's a reasonable option.

I bought a pair of ankle suede booties from Dillards by Giani Bini...they are adorable with a little bow on side...BUT they are tall. Love the look but not sure how often I would grab them with them being on the tall side.
I have just recently found this forum and have noticed the Boutique 9 "rusty"...would this be a boot that you would get if you could only get one boot this fall? My husband likes heels but I don't want too tall of a heel that I don't grab for my boots all the time.
I have also eyed the Blowfish ankle booties...but I am having a major problem making a decision.
I like good quality and I want them to look well-made. But I need them to be moderate price point. I am wearing alot of grey but I also have items that I could wear brown with as well. I did buy a pair of knee high brownTimberland riding boots that I dearly love...very comfy and look well make as well.
Can someone help me on this dilemma? My husband said that he would buy me 1-2 pairs of boots for anniversary depending on price? I am really leaning towards the ankle/booties/boutique 9/rusty look....what would be a couple really good choices? I can't seem to make my own decisions.
