I tried lucky brand 16" shaft and though the boot style was perfect for my pear shape (thick shaft look) they were right at the knee cap and I've never bought knee high boots that tall. I am also short legged so that length shaft would probably look better on a longer leg. I'm pretty sure that I will return them. </p>
