At 6" I would consider them closer to skinnies and tuck them into boots. I have 7" white straight legs that can go either over or under and have worn them both ways. Ditto my 6.5" army green skinnies.

I am thinking you could tuck them into ankle boots? That would be the look I would try, although I don't know how loose the 6" would be. Also, you could dress them up with pumps.

Hi everyone, I just joined YLF and am excited to crank my wardrobe up a notch with your awesome expertise :)

My first question is about wearing boots with straight leg pants. I used to be into the skinnies, but I've recently switched to wearing a narrow straight leg (~6" across at the ankle). In the summer I wore flats with them, but now that the weather is cool I'm on the hunt for a new pair of fall boots / shoes. Are there any styles of boots that I can wear over a narrow straight leg, or am I best sticking with something like a snug lace-up boot that goes under the pant? (e.g. something like these - http://www.gravitypope.com/sho.....roopa-blk-)

Thanks in advance!
