Sorry for the delayed replies but thanks for the affirmation on the dresses. I was erring on the side of dressy. I felt like most of my dresses skew casual and shorter since I prefer to wear dresses with boots. The majority of the young women wore what I would call a sun dress in midi or maxi lengths. The women my age and older wore anything from capri length pants/nice blouse; jump suit, skirt/blouse or some kind of shift dress. I don’t think any of the options I had pulled out of my closet would have worked TBH. Not sure why I was so worried about it. </p> <p>@Star:&amp; Brooklyn: BF are my favorite style but I haven’t found any ones to replace my favorite Gap Sexy BF from way back when. Barrels are a close second for me but finding the right hem length is a bit of work. I like the cropped versions with more open foot wear. The longer lengths seem to work with Chelseas but they’re one or the other. BF seem to be more versatile in that respect. Thanks for the thumbs up on the shirt dress too. Both of these are probably 8-10 years old but in good condition (low wears.)
