I've seen boots similar to the first pair, but without such visible top-stitching, and a pointier toe. . .somewhere. Zappos? I forgot if it had an acceptable heel height. The second pair has a very young, casual funky vibe that I don't see in you; my image is more artsy feminine. I don't know if that makes sense. Perhaps most importantly, I don't think either would look very good with work dresses or skirts, although they would look fine with jeans.
