Did you check Zappos? If they had the same styles, they do offer free returns. I found out about 6pm's return policy only after I had to return something and had to pay shipping. Rats!
I like the ones with the studs. That detail does probably make them a little trendier, but studs will probably fine for a few years anyway. Zipper details don't seem to be disappearing, and I thought they were kinda trendy a few years ago!

When considering ordering from 6pm, I like to Google the brand and shoe style to see if I can find any reviews. I find them helpful in pointing out problems and good points too, also fit.

The first thing I thought was that back detail on 1, it will likely cause issue with pants. The studs are a concern too. I am sorry.

My favorite is pair #2, but they might not stay in style as long as #1. I think Suz is right about #1, though, pant legs would probably get caught on the back flap.

Thanks Suz, I did not think about the buckle catching, but you are right about that.

Hmmm. That's a bit tricky. I absolutely need to try footwear on and cannot decide from a photo for myself.

In this case, in addition to your concern about the studs on pair #2, I have a slight concern about #1. That back detail could mean that trousers catch there and get stuck, necessitating some creative pulling and tugging every time you stand up from sitting or otherwise move.

So I am not a lot of help to you, I fear!

Help me decide which pair to order. I have been searching on line and all the shoe stores around me, DSW, Nordies, Macys, Off Broadway, marshalls, and all the shoe stores in the mall, and these are the only two pair I find that I want, they are both real leather so that is a plus, both seem to fit what I want-to wear them mostly with--- both skinny and rolled jeans, and narrow straight leg pants, that fit like jeans, but are not jeans. Don't want to get both and then have to return one pair or maybe both because of fit or feel, as 6 pm does not pay return shipping. Guess the big decision is which pair will stay in style the longest, as maybe the stud stuff is only a passing fad, and maybe the lower ones look like softer leather,, but will probably need socks in colder weather.
Can not figure how to get larger photos, but #1 has a little slit in the back down to the buckle. both have zippers which is also a requirement.
