Some days I have to walk quite a ways for work and I have pairs that feel lovely until I get down to the last 5 of 18 blocks! I love the booties, but I'm just trying to be realistic...Can you afford to keep them if they end up being shoes you can't wear day in/day out? Foot petals can help a lot, but you don't want to use them unless you're committed to keeping the shoe. Also, there has to be enough room in the shoe for them without causing rubbing. That is much higher than I can usually do. Not feeling optimistic But I'm surprised. Usually I can feel the height and for some reason in these I can't. The heel is nice and rubbery--not hard, so there is a lot of shock absorption when I walk. And the toebox is very rounded and roomy. They are just HUGE around the ankle. I didn't post this picture since it was so dark and I know no one will agree anyway, but I can't get over it. I would never want to wear these with that much of a gap. It makes my legs look like twigs. For $108, they are absolutely going back without hesitation.</p> <p>The Blowfish I'm not 100% sure of. The heel is higher than Zappos says--much higher. They feel comfy but I don't have confidence that they'll be comfy after tons of walking.
