These jeans are lovely on you. Whilst I think I would prefer them hemmed, I think you should wear them cuffed and then when you get tired of that look get them hemmed.

Thanks angie, carla and joy!
Shevia: the good thing is I can of course always still have them hemmed later, if I tire of this look.
Jess: haven't tried that yet, though back in the nineties I didn't tuck bootcuts into tall boots either and didn't miss it. We'll see come winter. I have one pair of tall boots on order and that's all.
Brie: these were on sale at c&a, so I got them for a song... but they're probably out of stock by now. I'm not spending much on jeans these days as belly problems most days make it hard for me to wear a good quality, sturdy jean.

Those jeans are super cute! Care to share the details? The cuff works ok with those shoes but I hesitate to say they would work with a different type of shoe (oxford, bootie, etc)

It looks good, but have you tried tucking into boots?

Does work, and I love the exposed button detail. But I would still be tempted to get them hemmed. (I am facing something similar with a pair of loose full length straights I have.)

I bought a pair of button-front bootcut jeans last month, waaaay too long though. I wanted to have the hems shortened but decided to wear them right away, cuffed. I'm kind of liking the extra outfit interest. But does it work? Does it look intentional?
