I think the scratches are fine- are they on the inside? If not , I wouldn't worry about it but for my lifestyle distressed is always a better option for footwear. I don't have a local shoe repair place I go to right now. Would you try an untested local place or is that something that maybe Nordstrom's shoe department does? I'm really hoping that the scratches can be buffed or softened somewhat. Anyone know what Nordstrom's charges for something like that? Like I said, I don't even know if they do that at all, but I know they stretch boots/shoes, etc. Not sure what other services they offer.</p> <p>Hope someone can help me, it definitely detracts from my enjoyment of the boots! </p>
