The black is more of a greyish-black, with the grey flannel inside and then black suede on the second inner cuff. The cuff folds down or snaps up so lots of possible looks! Not sure about bootcuts, but will give that a try. They definitely will work with skinnies and leggings. They are not that clunky, but they are a fairly strong look.
