The combat ones I bought feel a bit more refined than the usual&nbsp;and have the little zipper at the back. Did you try them on with a skirt? That is often the best way to know for sure.&nbsp;</p> <p>I think desert boots are sort of a fashion classic. But two black lace up boots might feel a bit redundant to me, yes, although the desert boot does read as more casual and more for pants, I guess.&nbsp;</p> <p>I love the idea of burgundy and I am wearing my new burgundy booties a lot, for whatever that is worth to you!
