thanks everyone for your responses!
@Vix...that is an awesome chart, thank you very much! Although all brands are made different this is a great reference point.

As an example, here's the chart Lands End uses for boot shaft/circumference:

http://www.landsend.com/cd/fp/help/0,,1_36877_36880_69239_,00.html

Again, no idea if the increments are standard or all over the place -- co-signing Alaskagirl's bra shopping comment...let's hope it's not that bad, ha.

Hi Neva --

Shaft height and circumference go up/down as sizes increase/decrease, but I don't know if it's by a standard amount or if it varies brand to brand.

Hopefully Angie will weigh in soon.

Hi Neva !!! I actually know a little Neva ! She is two and we all love her name because it is so unique and lovely.

Though I have no clue as to the answer...I was excited about "meeting" another Neva.

Hello everyone! Question: Does the height and width of boots increase as the shoe size increases? In my online perusal of boots, I notice that they are giving the measurements in correlation to a specific size for example:
1" heel.
14.00" shaft height.
15.00" circumference.
Product measurements were taken using size 7. Please note that measurements may vary by size.

So if this is the case, that measurements increase as size increases, then is there a specific increment that the height and width increases in correlation to the size? For instance, the height and width will increase 1/8" for every 1/2" increase in size....
