Elpgal, why is it important to find boots that are fitted at the ankle? Slouchy boots are fab!

That being said I have a pair of Munros on my radar since I have a client with dainty ankles and wide feet - but they are pricey unfortunately :(

They come in wide and are very fitted to the leg:

Elp, I actually wear EE. I don't even try anything narrower than E anymore. In one way, it makes shopping easier, as there are *far* fewer choices! Do you have the Rockports? They look like they'd be comfy for all-day wear.

Thanks for the Marshalls tip. I do have 2 Marshalls nearby but I haven't been there in a while. They do have a large sandal collection in summer so it may be worth a try to see if they have boots.

Sorry I can't help, but just know I sympathize. I don't think my ankles are narrow, but they are "average," and my feet are extra-wide and my calves are muscular. It seems like anything that fits my feet and calves is roomy in the ankle. I'd prefer something fitted too.

Angie's twin boot posts have rekindled my desire to find boots that fit. I have tried many a pair but nothing has worked so far. So Beth, you have company!

I am short with Size 9, wide feet and have narrow ankles. I don't know if my calves are truly narrow but most boots feel too loose there. Ideally, I would like something that is knee-high, fitted and has a flat/low heel. Basic black is fine and I can live without interesting detailing if the boot fits.

The Dansko Penelope came *this* close to fitting well except the footbed is narrow compared to their other styles.
