I don't think my ankles are narrow, but they are "average," and my feet are extra-wide and my calves are muscular. It seems like anything that fits my feet and calves is roomy in the ankle. I don't know if my calves are truly narrow but most boots feel too loose there. Ideally, I would like something that is knee-high, fitted and has a flat/low heel.
