Of course you have to decide for yourself if you're alright with that. I have a 15" calf and some lovely boots are perfect on me over socks but can't accommodate skinnies. As you say the skinnies aren't a priority, I would just rejoice that the boots fit you perfectly!</p> <p>As for the shaft, I would just guess, no higher than the bottom of the knee cap?
