But I recently had an epiphany on this forum that "bookending" doesn't just mean your hair and shoe color. You can "bookend" by repeating any color in your outfit in the upper half and lower half of the outfit! I thought I was destined to brown or cognac shoes that match my hair forever - which is fine.... but does limit the choices. You might know this already but It was such a revelation for me and has taken my style to a whole new level. I have the Paul Green pair, and they are amazingly comfortable. I also have the Naot Kedma, but in a darker metallic gray suede. I really love this lighter color with a kind of crackled design, called colonial beige.
