I really love Betty's clothes (but character-wise I LOVE Joan and just ordered a pen necklace for myself). As much as I adore the fashion of the Mad Men era and wish people would dress up more these days, I can't help but feel a tremendous amount of relief that we aren't expected to wear such extreme undergarments everyday. It has really made me want to dress up and really embrace my femininity! </p> <p>We don't have Mad Men on regular (cable is not that big here - we still primarily all watch free to air channels) TV here in Aus, (I have requested the first season on DVD from the library too), but I can tell from everything I have seen/read, I am a Betty Draper, so I found it really interesting when they discussed her looks.</p> <p>So, if you love the fashions of Mad Men, I'd suspect you'll like this book too - there's even a chapter on Men's wear! </p> <p>I've now added this to my list of books that I've borrowed from the library but want to buy! </p>
