These were just try-ons for Angie really but I did like putting the gold bomber over the gold and olive wide-striped top. That lipstick was one I saw a few years ago, loved the name of, and then saw for $5 (previous tester tube, I just wiped off the top layer) in my local pharmacy after that. I thought even if it wasn’t much good it would be fun, so I do wear it with gold clothing sometimes. I think the Color Me Beautiful consultant disapproved because it wasn’t in my palette. Something to do with the pandemic maybe? I feel there was at least one since the pandemic but it had fewer stalls I think and didn’t seem as good. This last Fashion Week end of August there was an NZ designer clothes swap instead, which I did attend and swapped two items, I will show the forum when it is warm enough to be wearing the summer items I got.<br /> I remember talking to a SA at a Sabatini factory sale (one of my favourite NZ brands, stopped making new clothes now I think due to the ageing of the owners?) who said they didn’t make enough money at the Designer Garage Sale to make the cost of the stall worth it for them. I think I did get my first items there though and then signed up for the factory sales. I spent quite a lot with them over a decade! You asked at some stage to see my summer bombers. They’re more spring wear perhaps, late spring here now and the weather is still extremely variable. Still raining often and occasionally colder again and some days very warm like summer. My floral one is from March 2016, from the Designer Garage Sale, when the SA said I looked like it was Christmas because the price of, I forget exactly but about $115-120?, had been reduced to $30 on the label and I hadn’t seen. I must have looked very happy as I was actually OK with the first price!<br /> I love the jacket and have worn it about 150 times! I often pattern mix it with other florals or bright colours. And wear sandals that pick out one of the colours, like here.<br /> The gold one was from the Designer Garage Sale in August of the same year, at NZ Fashion Week. That was the only year there were 2 sales. They have stopped now, alas. It was $40 and has had about 50 wears. They are a good weight for something to take the chill off.<br /> I put on some Revlon Gold Goddess lipstick for fun. It’s the only one the Color Me Beautiful consultant woman told me not to wear, LOL. </p>
