I'm happy to find I'm an hourglass! I guess that's the shape I always wanted to be and for some reason I didn't think of myself that way. Maybe something about perspective... looking at my body from up close/eye level on the mirror is quite different from this clearer outline. Thanks everyone! My guess is that I'm a combination of rectangle, pear, and hourglass? And possibly average-waisted but long-hipped? (Does that exist?) Although I have an idea of what works for my body, I'm curious to learn from the "Dressing for your body type" posts here. I'm posting two pics because the one without my feet is sharper, but doesn't give you an idea of how short I am. I have big feet & hands... once a candid friend told me I looked like an L because of my big feet and short stature. (I don't think he meant any harm, but it stung!)
