Thanks, Suz and Amy and I appreciate the camera tip, too! It's time and I actually look forward to starting the new year this way. Stay tuned to offer your input. ^_^

I think Suz is right. Just a front shot is probably enough. I'd also make sure the camera is fairly level. Funky camera angles can distort things.

I haven't noticed any pear tendencies in your photos either!

Hi, Vicki - just a front view will probably tell enough but if you want to include the others, go ahead! Measurements optional...it's a visual thing more than a measurement thing. But of course they do tell something.

I haven't noticed any pear tendencies in your WIWs at all. So it might be worth checking. We often have a difficult time judging ourselves.

I've been on the site since last autumn and it may be time for me to officially do my body type as I've been guessing that I'm an hourglass with pear tendencies, but I'm not sure.

Having seen a few postings of others in black tanks and leggings, I'm wondering how to do this correctly and what exactly I am supposed to do. Am I to take a full-length photo of myself from the front and side and supply my measurements (bust - waist - hips)? I think I'm ready to go (better get on the floor and do a 100 ab crunches!), but want to make sure this is what I'm supposed to do. If there's an explanation somewhere else on the site, please let me know.

Thanks!
